Can you recap its purpose(s) as such? is it still getting attention.
also why did lichess not give user control of the depth on local engine searches? I still find the time criterion useless for analytical chess purposes.. which is the purpose of using SF as such. I thought initially this was restricted to sparring purpose.
So I did not care as much. However, chess analytical value of engine tool, it pretty high for me, as I care about chess board stuff, more than how my machine fares as hardware benchmarking tool.. or whatever.. I found it a bit silly to offer such a floating parameter that nobody can refer too from user to user... Can you explain the thinking behind that selective user control experiemental feature?
