Hello. I am wondering if there are any 2000+ players here on Lichess that are willing to play a few games with me each week (maybe 15 + 2 games) and offer feedback. I recently hit a classical rating of 2006 here on Lichess, but am still having trouble progressing. In particular the level 6 computer here on Lichess is a wall. Any responses would be appreciated.
I'd be willing, although i would only be able to do 1 game a week for sure.
If you were a ≈1800 or so, I could. But since you're a ≈2000, I don't know if I can teach you anything... Yet, if you nevertheless want to play, I'd be willing.
Hi Neverness,
I'm currently rating in between 1700-1800. If you're willing, then it would be awesome if I could some games against you and get some feedback. Let me know!

Oh and apologies for jumping on this thread, I hope that isn't considered rude.
Well, I recently "jumped" from 2000 to 2100 in a relatively short period of time. In my case, my play improved by consistently bashing my head against 2300+ players :D. well I've won one of them, and managed to now comfortably play against 2200+, infact I seek such opponents now. I feel the difference in my play but it is not yet sunk in enough so as to put my finger on it. If you consider this any help, I am now making a study of my own blunders, I think that will do the most good to my play, perhaps it may be beneficial to others as well.
PS. If I made a promise to play on a schedule, I feel I am gonna falter somewhere, but I think you can consider adding people you would like to play and challange them when they are online. As your rating gets higher I think that is the safest bet to find and play strong opponents.

Hello;
Playing against the engine has its advantages but, also its disadvantages. With it, you can try your calculation and theory skills but anything else. An engine is not a human, and the precision of a machine is not the same of a human; a machine just calculate tons of moves in few seconds when a human has a positional perception.
Greetings.

Im willing, feel free to send me a challenge.
Okay, if any of you are interested: send me a private message. But, I CAN'T play on schedule; I ONLY play rated; and the time control I'd choose is 15+10 (or 10+5).
