Board is very big

With old interface where you see the letters H G F E D C B A below the chessboard that I cannot maximize further so it can sit next to the task bar. I can see my scoreboard name which is slightly distracting.

I'm running my desktop at a 4K 3840x2160 resolution and this LiChess interface is not properly optimized for such display resolution. Chess board is still not sufficiently big enough even at max zoom.

While the main display is too zoomed. I've been playing on LiChess for more than 2 years and I've never complained about such issues like this. But here came Version 2 and it ruined everything. This needs reverting back or I am quitting this site. It would be very sad if I have to go to another chess site, but I am hopeful that the developers can fix these issues.

@thibault @dRr0x0rZZ @goldenflame I'm running my desktop at a much lower resolution (1360x768) and I have the same problem as you: ibb.co/NL8LgZp. Also blurry pieces. So it is not related to resolution I think. I'm using chrome.

The blurry pieces are a result of the pieces being scaled. Play around a bit with the size and you will get a setting which looks sharper. For example 80% looks sharp on my laptop.

Further, have you tried 'ctrl' + '+' / '-' / '0' ?

Font sizes: you have a setting in your Webbrowser which can restrict the font size to a maximum size. Open the Chrome settings and search for 'font'.

@Klartext it doesn't look sharper in any reasonable size. I'm not playing in a miniature board. I have played around with the settings... I won't set the fonts in Chrome settings to a minimum size only for Lichess, I wouldn't be able to read anything in other web pages! I have tried with the zooming in Chrome but it mess up everything, and the board doesn't get bigger. The UI should be user friendly and not something we have to adapt to, that's my opinion.

Can you upload a full size (not scaled to a bigger or smaller size) image, for example to imgur and link to it here?

May i request everybody to do this (upload screenshots to imgur)? The image urls you gave (eg @GoLdEnFLAME #11) are sites which show nothing when i have my uMatrix enabled. On Imgur you can link to the raw image and it will also be inserted here, visible, if you paste the image link.
