Display chess opening in the match

I think this is a nice feature, and you can see it in many sites, including chess.com . Just shows the proper name of the opening used in the match.
Agreed. This is something that shouldn't be too difficult to implement since the opening is captured in the PGN notation.
I'm not a developer and I'm certainly not trying to be rude, but it's easier said than done.
I'm a developer but the project is quite complex to say the least and involve technologies that I'm no familiar with. Unfortunately there is little documentation about setting up the dev environment.
Why would you want that information during the game? Since you can easily access the analysis right after the game and get the played opening and a ton of other information.
It's a nice feature to have and practically all chess web sites have it.

Really ?
I cannot recall that Fics and chess.com have that.

I would find it distracting to see the opening variation name pop up during a chess game. I'd like to have bells and colors off as much as possible, to try to focus on the board and chess pieces.
Also, what happens when you stumble across a line you know, but your opponent doesn't? There are some lines where the name alone makes you look more in depth at the position if you don't know it, where you might normally be oblivious. (ie. traps)

If the site is giving all of this information away, it is less advantageous to play these lines.
@achja

Well, check again, chess.com has this feature on. It doesn't "pop up" on screen, its just a piece of text just above the notation. When the match is over, you can click on the name and you are right in to the Opening Explorer and can browse all variants, games played, etc.

@Leapphrog

This information is already in the analysis screen. What we want is that same info in the game screen.
