The key is not the will to win. It is the will to prepare to win that is important.

About me

I am a 23 year old FIDE Master, graduate in applied foreign languages, currently studying a master's degree in Intercultural European Studies in Madrid!

Playing experience

Among the tournaments I have played I would highlight my win in the Madrid rapid 2014 championship and in the III Classical tournament Los Molinos. Also wins over GM Kovchan and GM Georgiev in classical chess, or Ivanchuk and Xiong in online blitz.

Teaching experience

I have had students from all over the world, specially kids, who have very quickly learned to understand the basics of chess and, most importantly, to enjoy it. I have worked for a year in a school in the south of France too.

Best skills

I would say I'm a pretty complete and consistent player.

Teaching methodology

My teaching methodology depends on the level and ambitions of the student. If the player already knows how to play, I first analize my students games to know what their style and repertoire are. Then, when we know which are the strenghts and weaknesses, we work on them. We'll also train the repertoire and learn theory and plans. I also like to study endgames, which are a fundamental part of the game to understand and win more games!
