Opening name should be displayed immediatly after the game is over.

I know that there's already been a discussion about showing the name of the opening while the game is live (like Chess.com is doing). lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/can-lichess-show-the-opening-names-like-chesscom?page=2

The argument against showing the opening name during a live game is that it's information that you would not have OTB and could give you an unfair advantage depending on the opening (Noah's Ark Trap for instance). And I agree with this.

With that being said, why not display it immediatly after the game is over? Having to click the "Analysis" button to get this information should not be necessary. Would be a great usability / UX feature imo.

You are missing my entire point, which is that the information should be displayed immediatly after the game. There is no reason to hide the functionality behind "another click". This goes against well established basic heuristics of web UX / UI Design. The less "steps" and clicks you need to take, to see important information that you want to see, the better the usability is.

Chess.com understands this, as they have the money to actually hire good designers and UX developers. Lichess is open source, so I understand that it is not implemented yet but it should be.
