Players are able to do only one pre-move at a time where as it is expected from lichess to give access to the players to do multiple pre-moves at a time like chess.com. No comparison just a suggestion. Peace.
I think this is a bad idea, As Chess players we should be thinking about our moves to improve our play not mindlessly clicking moves, My suggestion would be to remove all pre-moves.
What about time pressure Mr.@DerekMcGill? Just keep one pre-move. That will be enough.
chess.com allows multiple premoves at 0.1sec per premove.
lichess allows only one premove without a time penalty.
I think both are attempts to simulate an actual chess game (obviously lichess' is less reasonable than chess.com in terms of realism)
If lichess were to allow multiple premoves without a time penalty, it'd be a step in the wrong direction away from realistic chess.

@PranavRamesh8 What do you mean about time pressure ?
@DerekMcGill, I meant that when you have less time, you might need to pre-move to stay in the game.
@PranavRamesh8 If you can not make the moves in your allotted time you should just lose on time, And if you do not want that play with a time increment.
In OTB (Over the Board), when you have time pressure, you have the benefit of swifter hands. Not so for the mouse. This is why pre-moves exist.
