11 things I did to take my USCF rating from 1547 to 1976

Great article thank you for sharing. Congratulations on your achievement :-)
To find the positions for the cards, do you play a game on lichess, and then hit the 'learn from your mistakes' button and then grab the positions it suggests?
@danbock

Cool article. I'm a huge anki user myself - woodpecking about 10k puzzles using it. And building a positional library as well though that's been going slower.

One item I didn't see mentioned is endgames - did you get the endgame knowledge that you think you need to get to 1900 back when you were climbing up to 1500?

I run the engine analysis and look for moves where I can learn something. Which is not every move that's classified as an inaccuracy, mistake or blunder.
@greysensei I haven't focused on endgames separately from middlegames. If I learn a lesson in any part of the game, it goes on a flashcard.

Are you up to date on the reviews on all 10,000 of your cards? That's a ton, but I know it's possible to get there if you do it every day for a few years.
